This place is alright for a drink outside, and the fries/chips are indeed decent, but that's it. The food is terrible: plain, lazy and poorly cooked. Le Cadran du Faubourg is one of the many Paris brasseries which should shut the kitchen and stick to the bar. Maybe keep the deep-fryer.

Having been ripped off at a number of establishments in Paris, it was refreshing to find a genuine French local restaurant with good food and a great atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening - and the French fries? Yes they were great!

The food there is pretty basic homefood, but: -it's dirt cheap. -the French fries are the best French fries I had in Paris. -the waiter is the nicest waiter that I've met in Paris or even anywhere else (and when you know that even remotely nice waiters are rare in Paris...)
