This restaurant is very large but still managed to create an intimate atmosphere. The food was very good and the wine outstanding. Our waiter was intelligent, charming and very helpful and we felt that we had been singled out for excellent service. We hadn't it was just the professionalism of the staff. The food/wine was expensive but good value nonetheless.

Avoid .....poor service, ambiance, food. Historical restaurant that is now a tourist mill. Have had wonderful experiences with dining in Paris until this evening. Really have nothing good to say about our dinner. The highlight of the evening was the nice wine..... My lamb was pot roast with minute rice.

Had a nice dinner here. Atmosphere is good, service is surprisingly friendly, although not always available when you want to order drinks. Food and wine are good, and slightly overpriced. Still recommend the experience.

La Coupole is often called a tourist trap. We cannot agree. This time, my wife had one of her best meat tartares ever, and believe me, she's a tartare expert. My fish was perfectly made. And the oysters we had with the champagne to begin with... yum yum!

The huge reataurant is impressive ; the crowd that fit in are enormous and noisy; it's food for tourists with nostalgia or wanting to share something that do not exist anymore
