Different experience in small, plain restaurant with personal touch and enjoyable traditional menu. Quiet at this time of year. Worth another visit.
We ate there last night having read good reviews about the fabulous traditional food. The ambience was better than expected so we were pleased with that. The one set menu is quite extensive too and reads well. The actual food however is quite ordinary and did not stand out as better than the many other restaurants in the Port and... More
Lodged in Rue Meynardier,a back street parallel to the famous seafront;a lovely restaurant with a sound and extensive menu.Old France at its best.Good staff ;how do they get away with cash only payment? No cards and no phone but then it is part of the mystique Recommend anyway and will be back
One of the best meals we've had on our trip to France this year. Sardines frites, carre d'agneau and morue aioli were outstanding and accompaied by ample portions of vegetables and potatoes. The price was reasonable for such a good meal and service was very good.
Locade in the midst of a tourist trap street, we almost missed this gem, but found it, and amazingly managed to get a table without a reservation during busy dinner hours in July. Aux Bons Enfants is a genuine fine dining French restaurant, without being posh. You order a three course menu, there are five/six starters, four/five main course and... More
It's hard to get calamari right, crispy on the outside lightly fried and tender and juicy on the inside. The food here is very good and there is a big selection of mains for lunch and the portions are generous plus you get a delicious plate of sides (fresh pasta, zuchinni and carrots). It's a tad more pricey than the... More
The food in this place was great! The place is busy so it is recommendable to make a reservation. Great service.
Located on pedestrian Rue Meynadier, which runs parallel with the shoreline a block or two inland towards Le Suquet, Aux Bons Enfants is a welcomed exception to the numerous tourist traps on this street. Family run since the 30's, this charming restaurant has no phone, hence also not accepting plastic. They have three course menus for under 30€ with the... More
If you are looking for authentic Riviera food with a good atmosphere, this is the place. Family business since 1930s, Enfants serve very delicious 3 course meals for 27€/person. Closed on sundays & mondays
3 courses menu, good portions and good quality. Well worth a visit. When in visiting Cannes I always have lunch here... enjoy!
