Dear Matthew_vanderheide, thank you very much for your kind review. We run two places at this location. One is the restaurant with some outside tables and the other is our famous beer garden. These places have different menus, and - of course - you should not bring your own food the restaurant :)

We went there for corporate dinner on Tuesday evening. The restaurant is very nice located over the lake with great outdoor seating. It was Tuesday, so atmosphere was rather quiet as it was empty.

Second time that I've eaten here -- both times unfortunately not in summer, so could not enjoy the gardens -- and this restaurant offers good German-type food in an interior with plenty of wood. Good, but not spectacular.

This is the less touristy but nicer beergarden in Englischen Garten. It is great on a sunny day and located at a lake.

Liked how the place was so crowded that we could barely find a place to enjoy our dinner. But, it's nicely crowded :) We've gone there at night and had some Bavarian Fish, it is very differently presented and gives you the feeling of old Bavaria.

During our recent visit to Munich we decided to rent bikes for an afternoon and ride throughout the Englischer Garden. We had a bright warm day in October so the setting was fantastic. We decided to stop at the Seehous for a rest and refreshments.
