We found this restaurant by chance and were glad that we did. Excellent food - especially the soups - and wine. Booking recommended at busy times.
Great spot I read about in Peter Sutcliffe's excellent book"Around Berlin in 80 Beers". A lot of Berlin beer is bland but this place serves the wonderful eibauer beers from southern Saxony. Really lovely stuff indeed. Pub is quiet but worth visiting for this beer alone
While looking for a place to eat, my husband asked a street policeman for recommendations, so he sent us to this place. We had the best meal, the best service, extra something from the owner :) and got out full and happy. Food was great, generous portions, good selection and staff was very friendly. Highly recommended.
We had a little trouble finding it and when we arrived it was empty and we were greeted by a chap thay didnt seem to speak much english but pointed us to an english menu and table. The food is tasty and typical, but the service is awful. I will never go back because the owner has never been anything but nasty to me.

Simple, but very tasty food. We had goose leg with kale & Berliner lever (liver) + 2 shwarz bier for 32?. Would eat here again.
We had a splendid lunch here. Traditional German food. The best "Bratkartioffeln". Good selection of beers and very good value for money. Nice atmosphere and good service.
