Nearly everything you can think of with potatoes is on the menu. If you like potatoes, this is your place. Nice environment and usually good service. Like so many places here, the bathrooms are downstairs (no elevator) which is annoying if you have a stroller or difficulty walking.

If you like potatoes, then you are right at the Kartoffel Kiste. You will find a lot of different potatoe dishes, and also German potatoe specialities. Big portions. Fine for families with children. Nice to sit outside in summer!

very big restaurant in Trier old-town (end of pedestrian zone), big choice of potatoe food, you can eat good typical german food, one of the best "normal" restaurants in Trier. Outside seating possible in the pedestrian zone. Clean toilets. Everything is about the "Kartoffel" (potatoe) but has other food as well.

Food is very good and tasty, but heavy. The portions are big.
