We stayed in the hotel across the road and went to Bar Ramon twice, because it was so good. The atmosphere was brilliant and the food, especially the wild mushrooms, was excellent. And Jolanda is the best waitress ever!

We arrived in Barcelona eager to try as many tapas as we could. Quickly we discovered that even in this great city tapas tend to be somewhat akin to McDonald's or sushi -- by which I don't mean bad, but, rather, the same everywhere.
