This was our favorite restaurant in Sorrento. We looked forward to going every night (except Wednesday when they are closed). Fresh pasta, fresh pizza, great brodo, yummy pesto, excellent prices. There is a man who has a station in full view of the restaurant and makes the fresh pasta and pizza upon order - fresh handmade pasta its outstanding!! Clean,... More

Fresh produce, tasty wonderful food, friendly staff, half the price of restaurants in Sorrento town centre and much much better than most. Would highly recommend.

We were also refugees from the terrible included meals at the hotel next door. Why eat school dinners when you've got this resturaunt on your doorstep? Out of the 7 days we stayed, we eat here for at least 5 of them. The food was delicious. Beautiful fresh tomato, mozzerella and basil salad, traditional pizzas (take away too), sea food... More

This restaurant is located at the top of the hill heading out of Sorrento, only 200yrds from Belair and Bristol hotels. There is an extremely warm and friendly welcome.....Beautifully fresh and authentic home made food, stunning desserts, all at very reasonable prices. I recommend the baked aubergine starter, followed by the fillet steak... If you are in Sorrento, make sure... More

Myself and my fiance visited Sorrento last week. We stayed in B&B accommodation just up the hill from Verdemare and saw this lovely place ever day on the bus as we ventured into town, so decided to try it out and we were not disappointed. The menu was typical of the area and included a great selection of pizzas and... More

We were refugees from the ghastly included dinner at the hotel next door but this was well worth the extra expenditure on the couple of nights we escaped to eat there. Lovely staff, relaxed service and interesting folk all around of various nationalities to stare at. Super food, immaculate pizza, good wines and a good choice of half bottles at... More

We arrived in Sorrento, got settled in our hotel on Via Capo and asked for a restaurant recommendation. We were given two and decided on VerdeMare. It was a bit of a hike up the road but of course the view was magnificent along the way. And the walk was absolutely worth it - some of the best cooking we... More
