Look carefully for the entrance of this unobstrusive cafe or you will miss it. The owner is likely to be sitting in front but there is no touting to get you in. Service is fast and efficient. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large. The pizza bread with parma ham and melons were delectable. The melons were juicy and... More

My wife and I and our eight year old daughter had a magnificent meal at Piccolo Buco, washed down with a very god Chianti. Would highly recommend.

I loved the service and the food here! It's a little small in there but that's how it is anywhere in Rome so no complaints. It's nice and cozy and the guy who works here is friendly and professional.I think the lady who works here is his mom? She was so nice as well. Their welcoming vibe allowed me to... More

Went to this restaurant based on the good reviews i read here. It is a very small place with a maximum of six tables. It is located right next to Fontana di Trevi. I ordered as Primi Piatti a risotto spinach with gorgonzola chese and roasted sausages as secondo piatti. Regarding to the primi piatti it was just reasonable, although... More

Best bruschetta ever. Great freshmade pasta and the best service from Luca! We stayed around the corner from here and decided to eat here 2 of the 3 days we were in Rome. Found this spot through TripAdvisor and had to make sure we gave it the kudos it deserves. You will not be disappointed. Ravioli was great (with tomato... More

Nothing more about that. Food, service - everything is at very good level. Looked like a family business. Ate here twice and recommend to everybody.

We've been in Italy for 10 days and I've not yet been moved to write a review for any of the places we've eaten so far, nice though most were. However Piccolo Buco is a gem and I really wanted to give it the credit it deserves. Really lovely relaxed atmosphere, efficient service and tasty food. My husband and i... More

Every one of the positive reviews of this little gem are correct -- the food was incredible (bucatini alla amatriciano and fettuccine frutti de mare) and Luca was friendly and knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. He's not the owner though -- his mother and father own the place and he runs it. And he said that he is not Greek,... More

So we arrived here already knowing the good reviews and we didn't get disapointed. The pasta is great, house wine(white) is good and not expensive. Service is great and friendly. We like it so much we went there twice in a 4 days stay and no doubt will go back.

A tiny restaurant near the Trevy fountain, serves great food and the staff are friendly and helpfull, our whole experience was one I would recommend. The food was simple, but tasted amazing, and the surroundings were comfortable, clean and well presented. Impressed with the lovely pizza oven!
