On recommendation of another restaurant which was closed on Sunday we went to Babette, we made a reservation, just as well it was very busy, mostly with locals, which says it all ! A very enjoyable culinary experience and great value.

A money for value restaurant in an outstanding location. Service and attention to details are the best characteristic of this cosy and classy place. Highly recommend

Followed a guidebook recommendation to eat here and it proved to be an excellent tip! 14 Euro buffet (including soup if you want it) had variety of pastas, salad items and other dishes. Excellent choice of wine by the glass (tasting prior to serving) to complement the meal.

We ate at Babette for our last meal in Rome on our hotels recommendation. It was a lovely meal from beginning to end. Our waitress, who spoke English very well, was unfailingly helpful with suggestions, all of which were spot on. The service was excellent and quiet allowing us to have a great discussion. You can't go wrong here.
