Stefino has among the best ice creams in town. It's a hole in the wall and people usually line up along the portico. My preferred flavor is mediterraneo (pistacchio, almonds..) followed by the chocolates (with rhum, with almonds and with sour cherries). Really worth a visit1

The only problem with this icecream is that after you try this you'll never eat icecream anywhere else! My favourite flavors are "cream with lemon", "pistacchio" , "greek yoghurt". Also fruits flavour are fantastic. This is the number one "thing to do" if you're visiting Bologna

Nice little place on the street, with delicious flavors (for instance mandarine, pear). We went there every evening after dinner. You can also order a small sample for 1€ (degustazione), very nice for those who just want to taste a flavor.

The gelato here is that rare thing that leaves you home, one year later, daydreaming about how amazingly delicious it was. Spectacular execution- well-sourced ingredients and creative flavors. Can't recommend highly enough.
