I went on vino veritas several times during my staying in Turin. The owner, Simone, is really funny and knows how to make people feeling at home. The food is excellent and not expensive at all. I tried some cinghiale (wild boar) here for the first time. Very large and tasty steak. Also the other food we ordered was quite ok. Service was very slow and not particularly efficient. I went to In Vino Veritas with 35 other people (we were there for a conference) and I was very pleased with the dinner. For € 25 per person we were give excellent and abundant starters (selection of Southern Italy cheese, ham, etc...), a selection of 3 pasta types and BBQ meat until we could eat no more.
