La Lepanto is a popular restaurant in Alghero, on one of the seafront streets. Service was good; we had no trouble ordering without knowing Italian, and the food was good. I ordered Fragola (a Sardinian pasta, similar to couscous) with seafood. This was presented very attractively, with several varieties of prawn in their shell, and was my favourite dish here.... More

Some friends were visiting and wished for a long Italian meal. We went to La Lepanto which is a local favorite in Alghero. Fantastic restaurant, excellent food and service. We had the Fregula, which you need to order in advance, not cheap but well worth it. Great desserts too!

You would not believe how delicious and tasty is the lobster as well as pasta and all the rest. Good regional wines served at accurate temperature. For sure the highlight of our Italy trip.

The restaurant is centrally located on the edge of historical centre. The area is very lively at night. The staff is very polite and welcoming, and atmosphere is warm and homely unlike many other restaurants in Alghero. The food vas very good with wide selection of dishes. Prices are average for Alghero. We dined in La Lepanto twice and I'd... More

Very good restaurant serving good quality/ value and interesting fish dishes together with a fresh local wine. Good value for money The waiters were very attentive and discretely moved us away from a table where a loud spoilt child was ruining a nice evening for his parents and granny.

Very good fish restaurant. We were 2 and we have ordered 1 mixed starter, 2 main dishes, 2 glasses of wine, 2 desserts, 1 bottle of water and we have paid 70€. Good price for quality considering Alghero!

Overpriced and BAD quality food!!! An average lobster (supposed to be the highlight!) was around 100 euro per person, so we ordered fettuccine with astice but there were only bones and no meet and especially no Taste at all. Restaurant was basically empty but we had to wait too long.

We came across Le Lepanto after several sub-standard experiences at other Alghero restaurants. What a wonderful surprise! Food was absolutely superb (the pesce al sale and suckling pig the big highlights, pastas also good) and attentive and friendly waitstaff. We could not recommend it more highly.

I ate at La Lepanto with my father and brother on my first day on Sardegna. That was a nice introduction! Really nice food and very responsive waiters. We liked it so much that we decided to return after a week of traveling around and end our holidays there. Must go to in Alghero!

A good location on the seafront with good service, but the restaurant is let down by terrible background music and its prices. It also feels a little sterile compared with other more atmospheric restaurants in Alghero (try Al Tuguri and Il Pavone both nearby)
