Great atmosphere, food and friendly service - we got a dinner reservation here after having signed up for the Cin Cin cooking class, which we did on the following day (see separate review)

I had to eat here when I saw an LSU alumni sign in the window (Go Gators). The interior is very quaint. The owner Vincenzo was so friendly. It was fun chatting about Louisiana and the SEC. He was very helpful with advise on what to see in Palermo and around Sicily. The local wines by he chose for me... More

We ate here for dinner, we where the only customers, the owner said it was a quite week in Palermo since it was the week after Easter. The food was good and fresh, the owner was easy to speak with since he is a born English speaker, he shared insight and advise on your travels in Sicily. It was not... More

Would recommend most highly. Food was excellent and by far the best we had in Palermo. Vincenzo was a hospitable host. Wine was also very good.

We were in the neighborhood for lunch but appeared to be closed. The owner was inside and came out to greet us and said the restaurant was only opened for dinner that day. She suggested another restaurant close by (La Cuccina Pizza) which was good so we decided to go back to Cin Cin for dinner. The owner recognized us... More

I think this is a definite "must". The food was very good and we enjoyed the ambiance. This was an "included meal" on our tour so I can't speak to the price, but I would definitely go back if I returned to Palermo.

About a 10 minute walk from the Opera, down a side street, this is a lovely traditional styled place with very good food. Service was ok, but not very friendly.

Vincenzo Clemente and his mother operate Cin Cin Ristorante and don't disappoint. Our experience surpassed our expectations. The innovative dishes are a modern version of Sicilian cuisine and are prepared with the freshest ingredients. Vincenzo's friendly personality, the warm and cozy atmosphere and the great food and wine contributed to make our evening at Cin Cin a memorable one. Customers... More

Decided to go to this restaurant after reading a Frommer's Review and the proximity to our hotel. The owner, an LSU grad, was most accommodating and friendly. The Pasta con Sarde (a sicilian specialty) was the absolutely the best I had in all of Sicily. Don't forget to try the mozzarella with strawberry preserve.
