Lunch for 11.50 Euros including wine, water and bread. The food is surprisingly nice. I had ravioli with pesto and it was one of nicest pastas I had all week. The staff were very patient explaining the menu in english. You aren't encouraged to linger but it is very popular and the tables are in demand.

This place must have one of the best quality-price ratio in Florence. The daily menu at 13 euros for dinner is great and offers a lot of choices. The ambiance is also something to stop for. Not a fancy place but a great local place with good home cooking. The simple style makes it more like an Osteria than a Trattoria. Set menu with wine and water for 11,50 with many varieties. Very busy, but still very efficient. We loved it.

Sometimes the price you pay doesn't matter as long as the food is good. This little restaurant serves delicious food at very affordable prices. We will certainly be back!!!

having followed reviews we went to have dinner in contadino, things are quite good, but can be better if you dont have to wait so long outside this small but cosy restaurant
