Loved the fresh pasta. Clean ingredients and excellent sauces. Ate there two tines both were very good.
Really nice restaurant at the heart of Santo Spirito for fresh pasta with contemporary notes. For starters we had the Great selection of salumi and cheese with whole bread and potato gateau which was really great and it is highly recommended. For mains we had Tagliatelle with roasted porcini and also Pumpkins and potato gnocchi with sausage and gorgonzola. Both... More
The pasta was fresh and the atmosphere was trendy. The staff was friendly and the lobster pasta was very good, but the tortellini was better! A little pricy but it was worth it.
Beautiful ingredients, perfectly prepared, with a touch of the modern. Headed to this restaurant after reading the excellent New York Times review. Didn't have outside seating at the time, which at first made us contemplate going someplace else since it was such a lovely afternoon but as we were walking through the restaurant we saw all these fresh pastas being... We ate at the one next door to Tamero and had a very pleasant meal, but Tamero appeared to be very busy and the plates we saw arriving at tables looked interesting so we decided to try... More
Our experience at Tamero was excellent, the pasta dishes melt in your mouth, Americans will love this new style Italian restaurant with all fresh, local ingredients....the food is not your traditional spaghetti and meatballs....it has a hip, trendy atmosphere, and we love the location in Santo Spirito, rather than the too crowded centro!! The staff and owners are very friendly... More
Found this place a few blocks from the Arno by chance on Ferragosto. Sat outside in Piazza Santo Spirito.....great local atmosphere. Nice salad to start...homemade pasta for the main course really good...food was reasonably priced and glass of wine (5 euros) was pleasant...very good service also

The menu made it difficult to choose, but I opted for the freshly made rosemary tagliatelle with a pork ragu. The meaty sauce had both ground pork and a slow-cooked loin and the pasta did... More
Tamero was recommended by our B&B owner in Florence, so we called in at lunchtime to book a table for that evening. We found the staff and chef were very friendly and approachable, so we ended up staying for lunch. We had the 'black' ravioli and octopus, both delicious. The chef even offered us some 'freebie' tastings of a couple... More
