My girlfriend and I visited this place when we were in Florence, as we love red wine, and we were surely not disappointed. The first night we participated in their wine tasting dinner - we tried 15 different wines and 7 different dishes including a chocolate cake desert which was amazing. The 3 owners are extremely nice, have a vast... More

We stumbled upon this wine bar while looking for a place to eat our first night in Florence. Can I say, WOW!? The ambiance was what attracted us in the first place and I love my wines. This truly is a wine lover's heaven. The owners are great at explaining the wines and picking out the perfect fit for your... More

After a long day in the Palazzo Pitti and the Giardini Boboli e Bardini, we had a bite to eat and a couple of glasses of wine at this cozy enoteca. The antipasti were tasty, and the service was excellent. The wine list was tremendous. If you like wine, you'll love this place!

I love red wine and in particularly Italian red wine, so I had to visit this place. I was not disappointed. I echo the comments about the Brunello. It tasted like nectar. This place also offers a very good selection of bites to complement the wine. We had some bruschettas and pasta with lamb ragu and it was very good.... More

Amazing location in front of Pitti Palace. Incredible wine selection, especially reds. Pricey but worth it.

This is a very special place. Service, quality and wonderfully fair value for money, all make for an unique experience. Tha advice and attention from Zeno was perfect for each of our 4 visits. The wine selection concentrates on quality and the team will always accommodate to your taste. The food is just right for the wine match. Wonderfully tasty... More

I was in Florence in April 2012, and must echo all of the positive reviews of this place. I visited this shop on nearly a daily basis over 10 days and every wine that I sampled was excellent and interesting. Moreover, the owner's (Zeno) encyclopedic knowlege of Tuscan wines was matched only by his generosity and enthusiasm in sharing this... More

As others have noted, no, you won't find beer or soda here (which is a very good thing), but what you will find is an amazing selection of wine by the glass (their selection of Brunello is exceptional) and extremely knowledgeable wine service by the three brothers who run this enoteca. It's definitely much more high-end and selective then you... More

Best day of our trip! We spent several hours with Zeno, one of the owners. He was fantastic and so knowledgeable! We ended up doing a tasting of 12 wines, paired with breads, cheeses, pasta, etc...all excellent!! If you appreciate good wine, this place is a must!! If you have time to do a tasting with one of the owners,... More

When we e-mailed requesting a reservation for the first dinner of our honeymoon, the restaurant warned us they were not a "proper trattoria," but an enoteca. When we told our hotel we were going here, they said the same. This was EXACTLY what we wanted for our first meal in Italy. We splurged for a 12 course tasting for 80... More
