excellent food - high price but high quality. TripAdvisor says, this is in the 0-25 $ range, which is TOTALLY WRONG!!! most main dishes cost between 40 and 50 CHF, some more!!!

Food was nice but the person who served us named Madeleine was rude and unpleasant. We hoped for a lovely evening amd she made the whole evening very upseting. Regret we came here!
First night in Lucerne and we were able to book a late reservation here. The restaurant is classified as a 'historic' site by the city and as such has a ton of charm both in and outside. We went with the traditional schnitzel made table side. It was absolutely delicious and a great intro to Lucerne. Be warned though -...

This is such a charming setting, and the service is attentive, friendy and precise. We all ordered from the fixed price menu and we...

Very great experience, incredibly delicious food and very welcoming staff. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Lucerne. I'll be back!

Nicely decorated restaurant, their speciality is wienerschnitzel which they will cook in front of you. You can certainly see how much butter they use so give it a try while you can. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant; great Swiss food, excellent wine choice, very friendly and professional staff and a great understated atmosphere. Not to be missed; do try the schnitzel, unless you have a cholesterol problem....
First, when we saw the name of the restaurant, we thought " this is probably a tourist trap". But it was not. Tradition, good food, friendly staff, beautiful old house with a lot of antics and souvenirs The wine list is terrific! Don't go there if you want something small and light. The dishes are generous...
Traditional dining in classic surrounds. The signature Schnitzel prepared at the table to die for... fried in 250g butter and the size of a plate.
