The dutch beers that were served, a few stouts and the one porter they had, was less than impressive. The staff was skilled and knowledgable and the locale itself was nice.

Cool little place to sit a while away a few hours, enjoying great Dutch beers and ales. A selection of ever-changing 30 micro brews on tap, with another 70 by the bottle. I tried an amazing IPA and then had the "Bloed, Zweet & Tranen" (Blood, Sweat & Tears) Smoked Stout. Wow, tasted like carbonated peat smoke in a glass!...

There are so many great beers on tap that I could have stayed for weeks. The bartender was great in helping to determine which local brew we should try. Will be back again next time we're in town.
Only after I visited with a friend who lives in Amsterdam, did I discover that Arendsnest was ranked #1 restaurant in Amsterdam on TripAdvisor (at the time). While there is little food (small selection of munchies), the beer menu is epic. All Dutch breweries on offer, which was surprising at the options. Apparently the Belgians didn't hoard this all to...

Great selection of Dutch beer and a relaxed atmosphere. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. It does get busy and crowded, but if you go on a weekday or during the afternoon, you will find a very attentive bar staff. We really enjoyed ourselves!
We went here on a recommendation from friends. It was smaller than I expected and absolutely PACKED! It was a nice place to get out of the cold/snow and there was a huge range of beers to choose from. I also liked that you could order cider or wine as I'm not a beer drinker myself. Worthwhile visiting.
My wife and I enjoyed a couple of pints after dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. The bar is cozy and intimate with a nice wooden bar with copper accents. They has 30 Dutch beers on tap along with a great bottle selection. The bar staff was very helpful - giving us time to process the available beers and answering questions...

My husband and I spent a few hours (probably a couple too many) and racked up an outstanding bar bill in this amazing beer cafe. They have 30 dutch beers on draft and an amazing selection of bottled beers also. The two bartenders who were on when we visited were amazing - SO helpful and SO knowledgeable and willing to...

Visited here on Saturday 30th March great little cafe away from the main tourist traps. Had cheese and biscuits with the beer. If you want somewhere to chill out and sample different beers this is the place for you.
The beer in this bar is great, with beautiful copper taps etc. I like the concept, but I went here a few weeks ago and the barman was horrible. He made snide remarks and was rude. We left because of him. A shame.
