Very good and fresh fish dishes, service extremly good, provided good recommendations, very friendly also with children. Restaurant with view on the water. From time to time ships are passing, which is interesting to watch.
Discovered this place by accident when taking the ferry over to Newcastle. The food is heavy on the seafood side, naturally and very well presented and reasonably priced. Makes a great alternative to the food onboard and helps kill some time when you get to the ferry too early. Wish I'd known about it earlier.
This is a hidden gem in a tiny corner of Holland. A visit to this wonderful restaurant should be booked at least a day in advance, you might be very disappointed if you just turn up, the restaurant was full throughout our visit. Sited on the end on the North Sea Canal, the fish is so fresh, portions are large...

Excellent service. The apple tart was surprisingly 'special'.
Called in here for a bite of lunch whilst waiting to board the DFDS Ferry. Found the restaurant comfortable with pleasant service and the food was very good. Have eaten here on previous occasion and woill do so again.
Very nice service and very tasty soles! Good wine. Was there on a family outing, coming from Switzerland to visit some dutch members of the family.
