After some shocking meals we used TA and went to Fernando's. Arrived late and without a booking, waitress found us a table and quickly offered us drinks and olives. We both ordered steak and veggies which was cooked to perfection. Reasonable price...... If you want a good meal give it a go

I vist Fernando's every month or so. Where this restaurant really wins out is the quality of the steak given the price you have to pay for it. It's not easy to get a really top quality cut of meat cooked correctly for Chateaubriand and Fernando's always delivered. There have times in the last year where the quality of meat... More

we booked this place late afternoon and when we arrived was fully booked so well worth reserving a table. we enjoyed very good quality steak and great side dishes and wine. only one waitress on serving who was fantastic, she served everyone with a smile and first class service she could put others to shame her speed and attention single handed... We had dinner here last week ,we have dined here on a few occasions, it is always very nice, what I really like is you get decent veg.with your meal. It is a small cosy restaurant and the staff are very friendly.

Ate here mid April and chose it based on reviews saying it was the best steak restaurant in town. Inside very small but cosy and staff nice and friendly. I had a plain grilled sirloin and my husband had the Portuguese steak. Whilst both were very nice they were not outstanding. Maybe we were expecting too much based on the... More

Buoyed by glowing comments from fellow visitors we finally headed to Fernando's after three years of visiting Lagos to see what all the fuss was about. We have now been back as a couple, with parents and with our children and everyone has been on the same opinion... This is the best steak in town. The onion soup starter is... More

We visited here last year, after it being recommended to us. The restaurant is very small, but 'homely'. We were not particularly impressed with the food or the experience - the food was very 'average' and a little 'old fashioned'. We haven't returned, and with so many other better restaurants in Lagos, it is unlikely we ever will.

My husband & I loved this restaurant. It is not in heart of the town but a bit down the walk, not far, from where the cab stand is for the town. This is a family run restaurant with only about 10 tables. The daughter who works the entire floor was an absolute sweetheart. The wine list is reasonable. We... More

Lovely small place. family run. Wouldn't have even noticed it if we hadn't had it recommended. The starters were lovely - onion soup the best I've ever had with a cheesy crouton. The chateaubriand was very reasonably priced at 26 euros and was very tasty and succulent piece of meat but was somewhat underwhelming. We expected a huge cut of... More

11 of us went here for a family meal and had the most delicious food. The majority of us went for the Fillet Steak and it was superb. They offer a range of sauces to compliment your steak and I had the garlic, couldn't get enough. Few of us had the garlic prawns to start, also gorgeous and good size.... More
