If you want to enjoy goan food in Portugal, this is the best place to do it - the atmosphere is cosy, the food is great and the desserts are irresistible. Everything is superb but I just cannot resist to the ambotic (the best choice for spicy food lovers!), to bebinca and to the mango ice cream (try at least... More

If you're looking for smart decor and luxury, the Zuari is not for you....................but if you want some authentic Goan food served in a no-nonsense, friendly manner, then I highly recommend it. They close early - 21.30 - and we arrived as the shutters were coming down, but the owner very kindly insisted on staying open for us and the... More

My wife and I greatly enjoyed dining at Restaurant Zuari while in Lisbon. We are from Vancouver Canada which has many Indian dining options (both north and south) and found this to be some of the best Indian cuisine we have tried. We recommend the samosas, vindaloo and shrimp curry. The service is excellent (much better than we have experienced... More

My husband and I came across this restaurant by chance while exploring the area. We had heard of it before but did not know where exactly it was. It was a great find. The food was out of this world. I am not a great fan of Indian food but this restaurant is truly exceptional. The owner Orlando and his... More

Despite the simplicity of the restaurant, here you can enjoy one of the best meals based on Goan cuisine. Recommended also to all lovers of spicy food, since all the dishes is marked by this characteristic. Some recommended dishes are the "Vindalho" (highly recommended) or "Chacuti." The service is fast and friendly.

A nice, homely restaurant run by a wonderful Goan family. The spicy chicken curry and the pork vindaloo were just finger licking deliciously yummy. I thoroughly enjoyed the samosas too. It felt like I was back home . I tried their signature dessert - the home-made mango ice-cream and it was just the perfect way to end the meal. The... More

The owner Orlando and his family were very welcoming and after an appetiser of a couple of samosas produced a memorable chicken "chacuti". Food and drinks all reasonably priced. Good place to visit after a spot of sight seeing ( the National Art Museum is just down the road)
