Good, almost a 4-pointer. Nice beer garden. The food was definitly ok, but I had hoped on a little more for that price. Dinner with drinks for two people was around 40 euro. Nice waiter.
Indoor and outdoor area, home style cooking with good selection of traditional dishes. Staff are friendly and inviting. Although it allows smoking (as many do in lisbon) there is a fresco dining area in a beautiful courtyard and a non smoking indoor area. Will do banquet style dinner parties. He owners used to cater for corporate functions so they always... More
We stumbled onto this establishment as a result of randomly reading tapas restaurant reviews on Trip Advisor. I am glad we did as we never would have found our way to this restaurant, located in a downhill, slightly outside of the hip and touristy areas of Lissabon. Step inside and you will first be struck the decor. Eclectic. In fact,... More
As a group of 8 keen cooks and foodies we happened on Tasca Urso by accident, but what a find. We chose a selection of tapas - with excellent guidance from the staff - and were treated to a remarkable series of varied and delicious local platters. Unlike at home, they came sequentially to share, which worked wonderfully. Everything was... More
We stumbled upon this place on a Thursday night and the food was amazing. The restaurant wasn't busy at all and we received individual attention. We sat on the patio and during June and it was perfect. The second night we were there, the restaurant was extremely busy but the staff made sure everyone had food and drink. Both nights,... More
Four of us went for dinner and shared four dishes and the house wine. Each dish was enough for us to each have a good portion, and the four dishes and wine were just the right amount for dinner. The menu has a good selection of these dishes to share, but there are only a few that are listed as... More
New to living in Lisbon, we had trouble finding a place to dine on new year's eve. Our discovery of Tasca Urso was a great find and a memorable evening. Being foreigners we got there at 8 (a full hour before anyone else) but were treated with excellent service and glass of champ. Our meal was excellent, including a fish... More
Unlike a restaurant,a Portugese Tasca provides inexpensive home cooking and the Tasca Urso provides just that. It doesn't have an extensive wine list but the house red was very good.Indeed my wife and I ordered a second pitcher we liked it so much. The food was a new experience for us, as was the menu as it was all in... More
After a week in Lisbon, when we had been very satisfied with all the restaurants we visited; it was our bad luck to choose this for our last dinner. Upon arrival, a tiny appetizer of patè with small pieces of toasts was placed unbidden on our table. This turned out to be the only tasty thing about our meal- and... More
Very nice restaurant, with typical portuguese tapas and a wonderful decoration with old school objects and a cool ambient. There is a smoking area and a nice terrace for outside dinning.
