Yes, they are the best. No question. Yes, it is worth standing in line (it was not bad: line moves fast). Yes, you will eat more than one. And yes, they are much much better than anywher else. Period.

I'll be brief on this one! so big it's like a factory. and they make pasteis that are very common. I tried others in different "bakeries" and they were much better with greater flavours. You can taste them of course but be sure to look for another bakery. And NEVER try their millefeuille, so dry you can choke on it!

Go to the back of the cafe where the main seating areas are, don't queue in line for hours at the front. Its very busy and a little impersonal but lovely custard tarts, a little better than those that can be found all over Lisbon.
