I have eaten to Symposium since this was also recommended from the hotel I was staying. The taverna stands up in comparison with the others in Parga beach. Clean restaurant with fresh fish (for two fishes almost 500gr we paid 30euro). The potatoes are home made and not pre-fried. We enjoyed ouzo with delicious salted fish. I would visit again.
We had dinner last September there, with my wife. The location of the restaurant is excellent, just on the sea-side road. The quality of the food was fantastic and the variety of choices was quite large. We really enjoyed our well-cooked dinner. The oyster selection - cooked in their uinique way - is strongly recommended to try.
Lovely food , great service , Brilliant atmosphere, would cef go back
In Parga for 2 weeks and ate in Symposium 3 times and wish it would have been more as the food, service and wine recommendation were excellent everytime. As a previous reviewer said it may be a little more expensive than some other harbour front restaurants but you get what you pay for and at Symposium that means excellance.
i was in parga on August and i was at many restaurants....but the restaurant that I made the best impression from the start was by far the symposium....I do not know where to start telling you to tell you that the service was wonderful for the taste of the dishes had a nice romantic atmosphere mousiki fantastic view of the...

After hearing good things about Symposium, we booked a table at this quite expensive (compared to other similar places nearby) restaurant, expecting a good meal. Sadly, we were largely disappointed.
My boyfriend ordered the 'large platter with a great selection of sea food seasoned with white wine, garlic and other spices', with expectations of a nice selection of grilled sea...

Calls itself a fish restaurant but they clearly don't know how to cook it. Ordered fish platter, the calamari was overcooked and rock hard, irt could have been recooked several times and obviously cooked in days old oil it was that dark in colour, came with a baby cod in the same oil half of which was its head and...

We went here partly on recommendation and partly because of a discount obtained from the Olympic rep. Symposium tries to be a little chic and contemporary and markets it's fish strongly. Two of our party of six (including the writer) had fish that came filleted but was nothing to write home about. The others had traditional greek food and were...

This place is heavily touted as a first class fish restaurant. For any class of fish restaurant in Greece, they seem to know very little about fish. They do not know how to make eatable Taramosalata, even I can do that. This tasted only salt. Totally lacking in three things: Olive oil, lemon juice and work. Obviously cutting corners here,...
