Jay Fu's offers a good location, very good service, excellent food and great atmosphere. Perfect for a romantic dinner or entertaining customers. The menu combines Asian and American tastes and has something for everybody. The starters are quite exceptional (the maki rolls with tuna, coriander and habanero are remarkable, the sashimi combo is great). I don't know a better restaurant...

Had the sampler appetizer: nice little bites of about 4-5 appetizer dishes. For the main course: the gone fishing' which was a mix of shrimp, scallops, lobster, fish, and probably some other seafood, covered in a peppery sauce.
The waiter is really good at memorizing the entire table's order w/out writing anything down. Took forever for the food to come...

Love this restaurant, my favorite in Uppsala.
The food is amazing, interesting combinations and great selection of choices, something for everyone. Presentation is beautiful, you really eat first with your eyes in this restaurant.
Service was seamless and everything was timed perfectly, never felt I was waiting for something nor did I feel rushed. Accessible waiters but not too present...

Went with a group of women from a conference. This is an excellent restaurant over the river and with a range of great starters and entress. Recommend 100%

This a restaurant that makes my tastebuds dance.
Last time I went there I had a the drink Wasabi martini and my friend had an Enter the dragon. Both where great!
I recommend the starters combo platter which is the best thing about the whole meal. The food is a mix of American and Asian food or AmAsian as they...

Dry martini straight out of Bartending 101 - which is more than can be said for most restaurants or bars in Uppsala.
I had the starter combo platter, which was very good and the tenderloin/lobster surf and turf which was impeccable.
The dessert: "Jungle Boogie" was surprisingly anonymous and in retrospect I probably should have had something else - but...

I went to Jay Fu's on a Friday evening and manage to get a seat at the bar without a reservation. The place quickly filled and I would recommend booking if you want to ensure yourself a place.
The location is great overlooking the “river” fro the top of Saluhallen. The décor was modern and interesting and the atmosphere pleasant...
