We were sent here when C for Cookie were closing for the day. Cute and interesting little place full of lots of things to look at. I'm sure the baked delights are good - they certainly looked appetizing. The terrace will be great in the summer.

My husband and I went to Cafe Babalu on our last night in Reykjavik to relax and read with a hot chocolate and some wine. The space was cozy and exactly what we wanted. The decor is funky and the atmosphere a friendly hang-out space. The service was very friendly, and it looked like they had lots of other things...

I stopped here for crepes and coffee after sightseing the church on the top of the street. The place is lovely, they make excellent coffee, there are some board games, free wifi and delicous crepes. This is one of the nicest independent coffee shops I have visited. It is cosy...think backpacker-style with reasonable prices and relaxed atmosphere.
A cozy and delightful cafe, with good coffee, teas and yummy treats, for the pause that refreshes. Loved its decor's tipping one's hat to nostalgia!
Lovely little place we found on a very cold walk around Reykjavik. Great hot chocolate, very welcoming and a cosy, fun atmosphere. Wish we'd had the chance to go back!
We stopped here for a cup of coffee on our first day in Reykjavik. Out hotel concierge had recommended this place as his favorite place for coffee.
Th coffee was outstanding (and free refills!). They also had a great assortment of pastries, and their crepes were very delicious! It is a great spot for meeting locals, chatting with friendly strangers....

I must say this coffee house is incredible. The gal from Australia was really fun to talk with. The staff is very accommodating for people from all around. The food was reasonably priced and great tasting! We ate and drank there a lot. Free Wifi is nice. The only issue is the steps to get upstairs as they are steep....

Went here the first day of our trip in a crazy snowstorm, and then last couple hours of our trip before we headed out to the airport. The woman who works there (I think is the owner) works so hard and is so nice! Great atmosphere, cozy and fun. Food and coffee are great too. Loved all the games and...

Walk up some stairs and you arrive in a cosy cafe serving light meals and good coffee and cake. Very clean and has an outside terrace that will be a good place to sit in decent weather but it was closed when we visited as it was raining. An eclectic mix of furnishings and decorations with a good selection of...

Popped in for a coffee and absolutely fell in love with this quirky cafe. You must check out the loo as it's such great fun, won't tell you why as it will spoil the surprise (nice one, nothing nasty/embarrassing!!). Definitely worth a visit.
