Iceland is a great place place for soup. We visited recently Iceland and stayed at the Hotel Fron. The breakfast were included and a good European Breakfast. We stayed in one night and ordered the fish Soup and meat tray. The soup was delicate in flavor and delicious. The addition of chili and I think parsley oil elevated it to... More

Friendly service, unfortunately in our opinion overly expensive and disappointing food. The fried camembert was ok however the 'fish & chips' was tasteless and worked out to be best part of £60 (if our exchange into sterling was correct!)

The restaurant decor is cool, and the service stayed out of your way, Had the seafood soup and it was pretty good. Prices seem a bit expensive, I would return.

The food was good. We had a couple of their open faced sandwiches for lunch. Definitely an interesting experience for us as that is not common in the US. Coffee is by the cup, another thing we were surprised by. My husband is the coffee connoisseur, and he said it tasted like watered down espresso. Other patrons' dishes looked as... More

This place is connected to our hotel so we decided to try it out after a long day of walking around town and wanting to get a bite to eat before our northern lights tour without having to walk somewhere else. I am so glad we did! I ordered the BBQ chicken salad and my husband ordered the seafood soup.... More

My friend has the seafood soup, he said it was excellent. I had an open faced sandwich with currant jelly and bacon, a strange but oddly tasty combination!

We stayed at Hotel Fron, and this is the attached restaurant, to be honest I could have had dinner here the whole time we stayed! It was great and very understanding when we said we needed something quick as we were going on a tour and only had under an hour, the lovely lady recommended the open sandwich menu. All... More

We stayed at Hotel Fron which uses this restaurant for its breakfasts. Tried it for a dinner as well, very convenient before an evening tour. Its menu allows for a wide variety of how filling & how pricey you want your meal to be. I love open sandwiches in Danish bars and kros so wanted to try them here; the... More

Went for a lunch on Christmas shopping day. Had the Christmas platter. What a delight. The warm pate was my favorite. Me and my husband have visited for some years now on our Christmas shopping day and will continue to go.
