My favourite destination for casual dinners. Good variety of thin crust pizzas, salads and some pastas. Good service and prices. Very good ice cream
I love the fact that the restaurant reminds me of a nice cosy restaurant in Italy, with its simple brick stone walls, the checkered tablecloths and the low lighting. The food, at least the pasta that i' ve had is excellent (good quality and quantity) and the prices are also reasonable. The other days we ordered a new side dish,... More
we visited da paolo late august, on a saturday evening. It was a busy night. I was expecting more. The food was not so good, the service was extremely slow.
One of the nicest Italian restaurants in Nicosia old town. Good menu, great pizzas, good service and a nice atmosphere both winter and summer time. This is one of our top choices when it come to going out for dinner. Recommended!
Liked the restaurant and am happy to compliment them on their food, beverages, atmosphere and friendliness - only draw back is the service speed. Slow. Even for Cyprus it's slow. So get ready for a long haul. While it is good it isn't great. The Arabiata wasn't spicy and the Quatro Stagioni was a little bland. I would go back... More
Well worth the visit. Great big proper Italian pizza oven. Very hot in doors but plenty of seat outside. Great Pizzas as well as other meals. Recommend the chicken livers to start. Ice cold beers.
Excellent outdoor sitting in the summer. Always airy in the hot summer nights. Staff is friendly. Their salads and their pizzas are great. Highly recommended for a casual and relaxed night out especially in the summer!
Whenever I am on a work trip to Nicosia I invariably pay a visit, or two, to this delightful eating place. In summer, one eats out in an area across the road from the main building overlooking the Venetian Walls, In winter, you are inside a cosy and atmospheric high ceilinged room with a pizza oven in sight. The pizzas... More
I love Da Paolo's pizzas. The menu has something for everybody but it needs to be refreshed: I am running out of things to try...I would also like to see some more adventurous stuff on the menu if I' m honest, even though the classics still work. The sicilian pizza is superb and for a nice dinner with friends this... More
Visited the restaurant on a very busy friday night on 1/12/2012. Atmosphere: cozy place; simple italian decoration in an old high ceilling building (built with pouropetra) next to nicosia walls; (i wasn't partcularly impressed by the hanging propably fake gardens on the ceilling) Service: quick and efficient Food: enjoyed thin cyprus flavored pizza and fresh salads Location: on the edge...
