The location and food are good, but the restaurant doesn't have enough seat, especially in winter, when the outdoor seats cannot be used. Try the Falafel there, it is delicious :)
if you are in stephen,s platz area, and you are looking for "home made food", this is the place. Waiters do not speak good English, but you will be understood. inexpensive meal. could be tried once to judge if you like this kind of food or not. any how it deserves a visit, enjoy the "different" taste of food.
We were in Vienna looking for an inexpensive take-out meal and fell upon Sababa. We ordered a large mixed platter and it was plenty for the two of us. We took it back to our hotel and paired it with a nice bottle of wine. The food was yummy and the price was around 14 euros. There was rice, hummus,... More
The plates are great! Rice, 3 salads, meat. The 3 types of sauces on each table are nice touch...mango, spicy and super spicy. Never got past the mango...it was that good!! Cost was 16Euros for the plate and water bottle which is pretty decent for city centre. Smiles are not free.....service seems to be consistent in Vienna.....there isn't any!!
