Popped in for lunch on lovely sunny day. The food is all freshly prepared and much of it is home made. I had a brilliant ploughmans with local Welsh cheeses. The service was excellent and the staff were all very friendly. Nice seaside theme to the decor.

Lovely friendly place. Pleasant staff and food at sensible prices. Views from the cafe windows are direct to the beach. Plenty of space to sit out, or inside. Only downside is that the toilet is a little walk away on a path below the cafe, but apart from that, I would give it 10/10.

Hi Thanks for the review - i take your point about the toilet, we've tried to come up with a solution but unfortunately at the moment we're stuck with the walk downstairs. But I'm pleased it didn't spoil your visit to the cafe and thanks for your positive comments about the staff and the food, and I'm very grateful you... More

I found this place by accident a few years ago on a day trip to Llandudno when I wanted to grab a quick snack and shelter from some bad weather! Since then I have returned again and again! My friend and I often have a few days in Anglesey and we always stop off for lunch on the way there.... More

Everything in the pastry counter looked homermade, my "All day breakfast" hit the spot and I would definately return for more and could sneak in a cake too!! A must visit if you are in the area and how nice to be... More

We live nearby & regularly pop in here for either a coffee & cake or a full blown meal. Great food, nice beach hut atmosphere & good value for money. Only downside is you have to walk outside & down to the basement for the toilet. Minor gripe though! :-)

Hi Pablos 100 Thanks for taking the time to review our cafe. I understand your view of having to walk down to the toilet and we've tried to come up with a solution all to no avail due to the construction and layout of the building, but i'm pleased it's only a minor gripe and hasn't spoiled your visits to... dropped by today for a "small Welsh" and coffee on a miserably cold day ... but inside the cafe all was warm and cosy ... I love your cafe, and your view out over the river is second to none

I stumbled upon this hidden gem on my recent visit to Llandudno! What a treat and well worth a visit. I had the homemade steak and ale pie and it was delicious. Make sure you stop by, you won't be disappointed. Nothing was too much trouble for the polite and attentive staff!!!

Thanks for stopping by and for taking the time to review us. I'm glad you enjoyed the Steak and Ale pie, its made with Welsh beef from Humphreys butchers in Rhos On Sea and Rampart Ale from Conwy brewery, i think the combination is lovely and i'm really pleased you liked it. Thanks again for the recommendation. More

After an excellent Rugby win by Wales, it was nice to see a 'special' on the board to celebrate. A home made welsh beef, leek, chilli and potato pasty served with chips and peas - delicious! Excellent value at only £5.45. Followed by lovely mug of coffee and a homemade scone with jam cream. Lovely friendly staff, nothing too much... More

Ahh that's great, i was inspired after watching the rugby, such a great game, i thought i must mark it in some way. Hence the Dragon Roared Pasty, which i hoped would sell, (we sold out) and i'm so pleased you had one and enjoyed it. The team tasted the first one out of the oven and loved it, so... More
