Yet another visit for Sunday lunch. The chef still works really hard to produce good, wholesome honest food at a great price. As always, the portions are generous and the vegetables are fresh and hot and cooked just right. The rhubarb crumble was excellent and about four times the size of a certain celebrity chef`s version not many miles from... More

I first came to the Burton Arms for a family meal on Mothers Day 2012, The Staff were really friendly and welcoming, and very child friendly! My younger siblings are fussy eaters and the Head Chef was accomodating to them and another customer who I overheard saying she had a wheat allergy - not a problem The Chef cooked a... More

We visited again today for the fifth time for Sunday lunch. The menu is always changing, apart from the staple roasts. Today we had a pigeon breast starter which was a meal in itself. For the main course, we both chose lamb stuffed with fresh crab meat and a huge pudding to follow. Plenty of hot fresh vegetables, friendly service,... More

I have been here several times and have had no problems and complaints with the food....the chef certainly knows his stuff and I would and have recommended to many family and friends......I am a very fussy eater...but this pub gets my vote every time......I think people should try a different day......hint hint....the Sunday roast is to die for

I am very suprised after reading your other reviews I think they must be reviewing somewhere totally different! My experience with a party of ten people children included was AN EXCELLENT EVENING OUT. The menu was varied offering traditional and unusual dishes, all food was cooked to perfection, good service, friendly atmosphere, very children friendly as the children did not... More

Despite claiming to be family friendly, a childrens menu was not available. They did have a highchair, but this was filthy from the previous customer. We ordered soup for the kids and even they wouldn't eat it. I ordered cottage pie and was offerred a dried out and very unappealing dish. They were also infested with flies which kept attacking... Really enjoyed our meal here. Excellent landlord - very switched on to customer needs. It's a traditional Wolds inn which has retained its character though the dining room could do with lightening up a bit. Food traditional and good although, as they were breaking in a new chef, there were no specials. This was no problem as the menu though... More

A good bed and breakfast at Lincoln. Very clean and organized place. I don't eat or drink there. Just pass a night waiting for the first train in the morning.
