Brilliant, Fantastic atmosphere and a great smell of food, so we ate... BBQ ribs (on specials board) but a proper man size helping and loads of sauce just great value for money and well cooked. A super selection of ales and some live music. Definitely worth a visit if your up in the Lakes, we will be going back...!

This is without doubt the best pub in town. Real ales ,real food real atmosphere and in winter a fantastic real open fire. Be quick though as the seats near the fire are prime. If you don't visit and enjoy a few relaxed real English beers you'll have missed a treat.

If your looking for a traditional pub with loads of character, serving excellent food, then 'Hole in t wall' is the place. Staff are very friendly too. My husband and I opted for the 'lamb henry' and it was a delicious, filling meal. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
