If you're looking for some decent pub grub this is the place to go. Friendly staff and locals, service was good.
We have visited the Tipsy on numerous occasions over the years but this was the first time since it has changed hands and been refurbished. The food was basic but good value and well... More
Good bar food here and very nice service, our order was taken promptly and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. Hubby had a tasty steak and ale pie which had a generous filling of melt-in-the-mouth steak and I had delicious lasagne, I couldn't finish it as the helping was pretty large...not a complaint I might add!!... Steak pie was lovely a decent big portion, i didn't have room for pudding.! Other half had a steak cooked just as he liked it
Arrived in Kingussie as a large group, late one Saturday afternoon, after a wander round we popped in here for a drink and then decided to eat. There wasn't room to seat us all in dining part so they sorted out space in bar. Very chilled relaxing pub with friendly bar staff :-)))
The Tipsy is a nice, clean restaurant and bar where the food is good, hot and filling. We found the staff to be prompt and quite friendly.
40 0f us stopped here for an early two course meal. The menu had been pre selected. The food was excellent and the service very efficient dispite the numbers. The price was £9.25 per head which was extremely good value for money. I would certainly eat here again if in the area.
Popped in for a pint and stayed for dinner, nice and cosy and very clean, had soup of the day which was chicken broth and it was homemade and lovely,i then went for lasagne which came with chips and garlic bread, delighted this was also homemade and it was fantastic, magic wee place with good friendly service great food
Neat Tidy good food at good prices. food was a little cool when served but more then made up in the taste department..... If we had not been so hungry we 'might' have asked for it to be warmed :-) two courses and drinks less than £40 and was stuffed by the end so cany complain at that..... ha ha
Really enjoyed our meat free meal and Ice Cold Tennent's The burgers were brilliant, they were well dressed and it was hard to tell the difference with a real meat burger! Great atmosphere and perfect service!
