The decor is simple but effective, the concept is equally simple, good, fresh food, served quickly. Nothing sits around waiting to be served, even when they're busy, they move fast to keep everyone happy. The staff are friendly and attentive even when they're rushed and there's a queue all the way down the stairs. I love the pad thai, so... More

Horrible decor more like a school canteen than a restaurant. Staff were unattentive and when food was brought to our bench it was slammed on the opposite end of the table so we had to pick it up and put it on our place mats. The Mandarin & Sesame Chicken Salad was not fresh at all and some of the... More

I am going to keep this review simple and directly to the point. Two of us eating. The main courses were bland, but the starters, or 'sides' as they like to call them were awful, very poor quality, like something frozen out of a packet. The sides I ordered were: Ribs, supposedly steamed chicken gyoza and deep fried duck gyoza.... More

Although the food and service was ok, the lack of windows in the restaurant made our experience at Wagamama Richmond a rather claustrophobic one. This added to the sparse decor leaves the restaurant lacking in atmosphere and with hard benches, a feature of most Wagamama's, we were relieved when it was time to depart.

I went to shop in Richmond on a saturday and decided to have lunch in Wagamama. When I went up the stairs to the restaurant, there was a queue of about 4 people standing holding a menu and waiting for a table. I joined the queue standing on the last step of the stair as there was no room on... More

We have loved other Wagamamas but not this experience. The service was ok - though they asked us if we wanted mineral water at least 3 times - but food was very poor. One of the starters - duck dumplings - was in foul pastry like something out of Iceland - and the main meals 'firecrackers' were mainly rice and... More

Wagamama used to be a staple of ours, especially the one on Wigmore Street. This restaurant was below poor. The food was oriental cooked by rote. The service poor and lacking in any sparkle. A waste of 45 minutes of our lives. No atmosphere either.

The first couple of times I went to this restaurant, I thought it was exciting, challenging, and hearty. Now, I am afraid after going here several times and visiting other Wagamama restaurants in London and around the UK, I find it TOTALLY BORING !! the food is predictable and I must say is gered towards easy cooking for the chefs... I love that we always get good food with cheerful service. It produces exactly what it says it will - good food, fast service & relaxed atmosphere. If you like Far Eastern food - try it!
