If you are staying along via Pasitea on the west side of the ravine in Positano, this should be no more than a 10 min walk, up or down. Several other well known restaurants in the area. This place is very popular because they serve very good preparations of classic local dishes at modest prices. My wife had a delicious... More

We ate here on two nights of the three that we were in Positano for. Stopped here as it was close to our hotel (Hotel Vittoria). Saw later on in our lonely planet that it is recommended. Not hard to see why. They give you a complimentary prosecco before your meal and a cold shot of Limincello after dessert. (The... More

Just down the steps from Villa Yiara, this family run restaurant serves good honest food, specialising in seafood, simply prepared and delicious. The service was friendly and quick and the house wine delicious accompaniment. No restaurants are cheap in Positano. An average 2 course meal for 2 including house wine is about 80 euros. But we got used to it.... More

I started with the Alici Marinate, which were marinated anchovies. The fish, lemon and whatever else the used was delicious. Second was the Gamberi e Calimari fritti, fried shrimp & squid. Very flavorful though the Calimari was slightly over done. Dolce was the Panna Cotta with cooked toffee caramel sauce. It was worth the trip for this alone!

We had a great meal, lots of lovely seafood, had a mixed seafood platter as a shared entree and then had daily specials for main meals. All enjoyed their meals. The waiter was lots of fun and very helpful.

Had 3 dinners here while staying in Positano for a week. The people, the food, was the best. When you think of Italy this restaurant is a reflection of the great country that it is

We had penne pasta, vongole, fried squid and shrimp, and zuppa di cozze. I strongly recommend vongole and fried sea food. Best italian food in my life!

We went back to Positano for the second time with friends and two teenagers, and the first place we went for dinner was back to Saraceno d'Oro. It was our favorite restaurant after our first visit in 2011 and it remains our favorite after this visit in March 2013. The menu is varied; there were three vegetarians and an avid... More

My boyfriend and I spent 10 days in Italy in 6 different cities, and this restaurant was by far our favorite experience. During the trip, we ate at some extremely expensive restaurants and some quick pizzerias, and this restaurant provided us with the best meal for our money, the best quality food, and the most wonderful experience. We sat outside... More

This extremely efficient and well run family restaurant was a understandably highly rated by fellow trip advisor reviewers. The food at this restaurant is not gastronomic but it is well made in a hearty, comforting nature. The menu is extensive across a wide plethora of Italian food styles all of which were ordered by our table and received rave reviews.... More
