Voted the best meal of the week by all four in our party. Grouper fingers and fish burgers are to die for.

This was one of our favorite spots at the fish fry, Mom treats everyone like her own, she is a truly a special woman. The cracked conch and cracked lobster was great, we also had her grouper fingers and Guava Duff (a Bahamaian dessert). This stuff was so good a must have if visiting the island.

Very good fried conch, until now the best in the island. Typical location in fry fish. Do not expect four season style service

This is where the locals eat! This was recommended from a local so you know it has to be good. Mama was so inviting and friendly! We ate with locals and visitors alike. The grouper fingers were incredible and fresh! Mama is also very generous on the servings of liquor! They will even make something special for you that is... More

I am not sure of the lady who took my order, but she was so inviting and home like, there was no way I could not give a write up on the place. She cracked jokes, the people came around and were very inviting even though I was from out of town, the breeze from the ocean here was crazy... More

Loved our evenings at Poorman's Kitchen!! Mama is the best hostess, the food is fresh and the drinks flow. We hung out with both the locals as well as the some of the guys from the Sandals resort so you know it's a good spot!! If you see Jager the dog, give him a pat on the head for me... More

We enjoyed our dinner. Cracked lobster and grouper fingers. Delicious. They were very friendly and we plan to go back. BTW cracked is where the meat is pounded to tenderize it, then it is fried. Very tasty.
