We picked up some brown scones from Walsh's a few days ago and they were excellent. Went back yesterday for lunch. I had a toasted BLT and my wife had a ham, cheese and tomato on a grainary roll. They were both perfect. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Here is a must, from the sitting area with amazing views to the culinary skills of the food and the great staff, the place is spotless as while we were having our food I was watching the staff and any moment they were not busy( which didn't last long) they were cleaning the counters, the cabinet glass etc. great variety...

It takes time to reach Clifden whether coming from golf at Ballyconnelly or driving down the Sky road, but when there, it is rewarding to walk slowly round and soak up the quirky atmosphere of this historic town. And Walsh's restaurant is the ideal place to rest and revive before moving on. Extensive menu options are complemented by the most...

We stopped in Clifton for lunch at Walsh's and really enjoyed everything we had! The food is fresh and made to order. The bakery section is filled with delicious home cooked treats. We loved the brown bread so much we bought a loaf to bring home.
Delicious hot chocolate with Banoffee Eclair to follow. Purchased cakes and bread as well to take home and enjoy
This is the place to come and sit with a large cup of coffee and a delicious cream cake and look out at the magnificent views of Clifden harbour..but you have to be there early to get the right table...it is worth it

I have to say without doubt the worst bagels ever.... they were cold and limp, the bacon was very fatty ( poor quality streaky bacon), far from...

Stopped there for tea and soup with my girlfriend. Was lovely clean place with a great view from back window. Soup was delish. Had to try a cake after which was also nice.
Dear Shane C, thank you for your comments, our soup in homemade in our kitchen daily, I will pass your compliments on to Justyna & Frances, our kitchen staff. Our cakes are also freshly baked in our bakery. Maybe you will get a chance to visit us again in the not too distant future.
Best wishes,
