Visited here after reading the reviews ... and have to agree - very good! As a previous reviewer has alluded to, I was the only person here at 6pm, but the waitresses were welcoming and made me feel at home. Asking me if I wanted a paper was a nice touch and I've never had this is another restaurant. Went... More

This restaurant has a cracking waitress. She has the perfect balance of professionalism and personality and raises the value of the establishment. The place was empty which can be awkward at times but she made us feel as if we were home. We both went for the steak - it was perfectly cooked, a touch more than medium rare as... More

We ate in Le Voyage on the Saturday of the May Bank holiday. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I had oven roasted hake and my boyfriend had duck. It was nicely presented and there was plenty of it for a fairly reasonable price. They also serve de-alcoholised wine so you can still drive home! Would... More

Le Voyage is a total gem in a town with not many good places to eat. I got the pate for starters and it was one of the best starters I've ever tasted. My partner got the burger for main course which was excellent while I had the equally good duck. The portion sizes are very generous and prices reasonable.... More

Le Voyage in Skibbereen is owned and run by two young people. But don’t let that fool you. They know the business of food preparation and presentation. In this very competitive time in the restaurant trade which we all accept is overdue this restaurant offers very good food at a reasonable price. The service matches the quality of the food... More

Dined here at the weekend with family, have had one wonderful meal here before and one very bad meal, but decided to try again. We were unfortunately disappointed!! The menu is very unimaginative, the service is poor and slow, the food was tasteless and overcooked. Over priced for the quality of food and service we received. The owner seems to... More
