We went to the Richmond Arms for Sunday lunch. Food absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. We kept changing our minds about where to sit: outside or in and they were incredibly accommodating, also in terms of the food. We have been to a few restaurants recently where the staff have refused to alter... More

The Richmond Arms is definitely a restaurant, rather than a pub. The food was imaginatively conceived, excellently cooked and beautifully presented. Faultless. With drinks, the bill was just over £25 per person for two courses - so it's not cheap. But two days earlier I'd eaten at a Jamie Oliver restaurant for the same price, and this was far better... I discovered this restaurant during a birthday dinner. And what did I miss all these years!! This is a truly hidden gem. The food is truly Michelin style: quality, taste and presentation. All five stars out if five. I eat in lots good quality restaurant including Michelin star ones with work and this one is really in my top 3... More

I dined here on the recommendations of people from Tripadvisor. We were a party of two. On arrival we were offered a table in the window but given the choice of anywhere else (the place was largely empty as it was midweek and early, 6:30). The location of the restaurant is lovely and the dining area very nicely arranged. I... More

Beautiful food in a cosy and atmospheric setting. Different from traditional gastro pub food, I want to return to try every dish!

Came here last week after we'd been recommended. Menu choice was slightly limited but some interesting and unusual additions.service was good - prompt and helpful.Felt quite small inside, especially with a wheelchair user. Food was beautifully cooked, nice selection of vegetables, and hot. Desserts were very unusual, and made a nice ending to the meal. My only gripe would be... More

Our Friends wanted to take us for a special meal on 18th May to celebrate my Wife's 60th Birthday. A warm greeting on arrival, followed by speedy drinks service. Place was very busy but not surprising considering it was a Saturday and food to die for. Menu was very different and intriguing. Everybody raves about the "chips" so I had... More

We thought the food innovative and delicious. The wood pigeon was a total surprise and utterly scrumptious. Both main courses were delicious as were the puddings. The service was excellent and exemplified how hard these people are working to provide a great experience. Amazing value for money. Good wine list, We had a chablis and a rioja both lived up... More

Me and my boyfriend ate here last year and it was gorgeous. The staff were so friendly and polite. The food was to die for. We are planning a trip to Chichester this coming bank holiday weekend and will definitely be popping in here again. 5 star!
