Went here recently for lunch. It has been extensively refurbished. Lunch menu includes burgers, pies and sandwiches. Good vego selection. Amazing cakes and pastries, and delicious bread (made in house - amazing ciabatta!). Service good but a little slow as it was so busy. The tables outside are very cramped, but the food is great. Good coffee too.

We had lunch at Dobinsons today, barramundi with potato wedges and salad. I doubt very much the fish was barramundi and it was partially raw and no where near as hot as the potato wedges. delish homemade breads and freshest bakery items. Decadent desserts to takeaway or eat in. Busy cafe with mostly outdoor eating but some indoor. Excellent value and service.

Got stuck at the last minute without a birthday cake - bought a chocolate ganache to put on a cake stand and then small white choc cheesecakes to put around that one. They looks specatacular and tasted amazing - so many positive comments - and a cheaper option than a large personalised cake from a cake maker.

I used to work opposite Dobinsons, and bought one of their cakes/tarts at least weekly. They do a mean strawberry tart and their hot chocolate is good too. Their savoury options aren't as impressive as their sweets, but it's definitely worth a visit for afternoon tea.

THE BEST sausage rolls. Golden, flaky pastry. Delicious meaty flavour-filled filling. Extra-cheap! I haven't had a dessert yet, though they all look extremely tempting. A lot of friends agree that Dobinsons do the best sausage roll in Canberra!
