Came here for dinner one night and it was great. It was only a week night but the place was packed. Make a reso if you're going to eat here. The decor was really nice, it reminded me of Balthazar in NYC but our table was larger at Felix, yay! Our server was really nice and informative. The complimentary bread... More

We booked a late dinner here (9:15pm) on Saturday night and enjoyed a few pre dinner drinks around Circular Quay taking in the sunset before we dined. From walking through the entrance you immediately want to take in your surrounds and feel like there is a little bit of theatre in the room. The open kitchen, seafood station and walk... More

We had dinner here on a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. All the food was fantastic, I felt it was priced very reasonably for the quality of the food. I have a gluten and dairy free diet and the waiter made sure all food was suitable without and difficulty. He also asked for a dessert to be... More

I had a trip to Paris last week without having to leave Australia. Felix has a genuine Paris bistro buzz without the dogs. The food was delicious, for starters I tried the mushroom soup which tasted like the mushrooms had just been plucked from the field. My second course was the double baked goat cheese souffle which was the best... More

I had dinner at Felix on a Thursday night with some friends. I tried to book a table through their website but unfortunately, bookings were only taken for Monday - Wednesday nights, so we decided to show up and try to get a table on the night. I was the first of our group to arrive and went inside to... More

Felix is situated in a charming laneway, has an interesting menu, well executed and tasy dishes eg. the duck confit was melt in your mouth. All other dishes eaten equally as good. Service was swift - perhaps overly so sometimes - and the noise level increased by walk-ins who stood around. It would be more amenable if this was discouraged.... More

We didn't eat in Felix to sample a French bistro (we've been to plenty of those), we went there to eat great tasting food and were not disappointed. Although French decor and bustle the restaurant serves up incredibly tasty food that goes beyond "French". The goats cheese souufle was excellent and the lamb pie is a really interesting dish with... Apparently Felix is intended to be the authentic French bistro, handling walk-in patrons with aplomb. I did not know this so I had made a reservation for dinner and arranged to meet a friend from overseas at the bar 30 minutes ahead of the time of our reservation. On arrival, entry was not made any easier by the walk-ins hanging... More

The ambiance is second to none in one of the hippest areas of Sydney. Good food, good drinks and a great vibe....what more could you ask for. More

It's really lucky the same piracy rules don't apply to restaurants as they do to movies and music otherwise Justin Hemmes would really be in trouble.Keith McNally opened the real Balthazar in Spring Street in Soho in 1997 as a New York French bistro. With a simple menu, great wine list and super service...not to mention a sprinkling of celebs... More
