For the hype and press on this place I would have expected more. Awkward and cramped was our table with pushy service, drowned out but an incredibly loud and distorted sound system. The lighting was poor and it was not possible to see what we were eating. With the prices asked for our petite plates I would expect that a... More

If you want to avoid noise and a shared table get there early! My daughter took me here for my birthday. Lots of interesting food. We tried a whole variety of different dishes , small servings for two which was perfect. Everything was so tasty and the desserts were amazing! Our hostess was very friendly .Service was very good, the... More

Had amazing experience last night a Bodega; everything was excellent - friendly informative service, great food with some unusual combinations which worked really well, the atmosphere was buzzing and energetic as you'd expect from a tapas. Trying to choose a favourite dish is difficult - we chose 6 dishes between 3 and they were all great and just about right... More

We went as a group of 8 after high recommendations and had the set tapas menu. Our table was smack in the middle of the tiny room. Out came some great dishes - the mussels were delectable and the quinoa was superb albeit very small servings for 8 people. You have to try the banana split cream flan- yum! The... More

Have to say I am soo disapointed we came here on our first night in Sydney when we were exhausted from a busy week, as we were too tired to fully enjoy this little place, too tired to eat and basically hit a brick wall and had to go home with food still on our plates! The vibe here is... More

Let me start by saying that if money is not much of an issue and you like tapas, then this is the place for you. A group of six of us ate here recently, and I must say that the food and wine were both brilliant. The wine list was extensive, however very expensive compared with other Sydney restaurants. I... Not your standard tapas, very different combinations of flavours - I think the chefs here deserve amazing reviews. A group of us let went with a chef's choice mix of tapas - what a wonderful surprise each time another dish arrived. Also had a lovely bottle of champagne and Temprinillo red. Really great experience all round.

I've dined at this restaurant many times since it's opening and it's still by far my most favourite tapas restaurant ever! The food is superb, the atmosphere is great and the staff are amazing. Well done Bodega you are so great that I never use to want to share your hidden gem with too many people for fear of not... More

We arrived as the restaurant opened and were third in line. The waiter suggested two plates each. We ordered bread plus five plates between three of us: arepas, calamari, scallops, lamb, and mussels. Each was brought out in succession and we devoured each while commenting on how tasty everything was. We would have licked the plates if it wasn't gauche.... More
