Very disappointed in the meal here. Went a bit out of the way to find an above average seafood dinner -- and failed. Selected this spot largely on the basis of previous Trip Advisor reviews, which proved to be an error. The ambiance is nothing to write home about. Cannot fault the food we enjoyed in this atmospheric restaurant. Splendid wine list; attentive service; fresh, well-prepared sea food. Absolutely first rate. The Lord Nelson bar is just nearby and worth a visit for a pre-dinner drink.

Nice wine list, excellent fresh fish and delightful service. Small but cozy - can get a bit noisey when full up. Worthwile experience in a nice quiet area.

Small cosy venue without pretence that has a good fish menu. We had a starter, main course and a good bottle of wine, recommended by the waitress, and the price was more than acceptable.
