Just okay, ordinary food, lovely setting. Thankfully it was a business lunch so I wasn't focused on the food, or it would have been even less impressive. Nothing sustainable on the menu either which is always a downer.

This fish restaurant, tucked away a little outside the main Rocks tourist area is very nice. The early bird special is excellent for $45 including a glass of wine. Fresh fish, and finally some hand cut chips (please note Doyle's, it is possible to make your own chips). Service a little disorganized, but friendly and attentive. A nice evening out!... More

We booked at Fish at the Rocks as we wanted a fresh seafood restaurant near our hotel, The Lord Nelson. We went for the early bird special, which is a great value for two courses + glass of house wine for $45, on the condition that you leave by 7:45. The timing wasn't a problem as we arrived at 6... Very disappointed in the meal here. Went a bit out of the way to find an above average seafood dinner -- and failed. Selected this spot largely on the basis of previous Trip Advisor reviews, which proved to be an error. The ambiance is nothing to write home about. The place is basically a storefront dining room facing the street... More

Cannot fault the food we enjoyed in this atmospheric restaurant. Splendid wine list; attentive service; fresh, well-prepared sea food. Absolutely first rate. The Lord Nelson bar is just nearby and worth a visit for a pre-dinner drink.

Nice wine list, excellent fresh fish and delightful service. Small but cozy - can get a bit noisey when full up. Worthwile experience in a nice quiet area.

Small cosy venue without pretence that has a good fish menu. We had a starter, main course and a good bottle of wine, recommended by the waitress, and the price was more than acceptable.

We had a fun reunion with a friend at this sweet restaurant. The service was adequate and it was fun to enjoy the fresh air from our spot near the porch. Some inventive ideas in food.
