Delicious pastries... try the chocolate tarts... to die for
Before Mod Oz there was the local take away selling meat pies, sausage roll and hamburgers (with beetroot) - if Australia had a national dish competition these were contenders in the early years.
With the advent of fine dining and mod oz it is hard to find a decent sausage roll or pie in this town. That's the beauty of...

This place is a local institution - there is always a (small) queue outside as it is always popular. The food is second to none and not bland (Lamb and harrisa roles for example mean this is no fast food style menu). Its largely take away- there are a few benches but thats it but there is some space in...

Love, love, love, love love it - we'll worth the queues!
I love the bread, coffee, sausage rolls, tarts and easy, laid back atmosphere. Go on, treat yourself

So I've stopped by the bakery in Alexandria but wasn't really feeling the laid back vibe there. Also dropped by the bakery in Surry which is a tiny...

Whilst I have never tried the bread, I can say that all the foods I have tried have been fantasic. The sausage rolls are among the best that I have tasted. I especially love the lamb harissa and almond sausage rolls. The pizza slice are also nice. It would have to be one of the best bakeries around.
