Ruby was a great find. Looking for a nice place for dinner on our first night and came across Ruby. Food was impressive and authentic. Service was prompt and extremely friendly. Sitting outside on a balmy night was superb. Definitely recommend it!!

I've pretty much had everything on the menu. Eaten here probably a dozen times. The food is delicious, particularly the fried chicken with egg noodles and also the paw paw salad. The staff are pleasant and efficient. You can eat outside or inside, which is a plus given that it can be humid during the wet season.

Went to Ruby mid-week following a walk around the city looking for something moderately priced. The restaurant was bordering on empty but decided even without the popularity that night to give it a go. The menu is quite concise and we opted for soups to start (hot and fresh and full of flavour) and a beef And chicken for main.... More

This is our favourite restaurant and since finding it have been back a few times taking friends and family with us. Price wise it is the upper level however the food is always fresh, delicious and served quickly. Menu has a good choice... a few selections very different to what is usually available in Darwin. Servings are small but more... More

Have been to Ruby's on many occassions from family dinner, business lunch and staff Christmas party. Food is always great although at the top end of the price scale. However, you pay for what you get and it's good value for money. Service is always friendly and efficicient and they will make things which are not on the menu.

Hubby and I went here tonight for Valentines Day. Sure it is certainly not advertised as a 'romantic' restaurant but it is extremely nice and was very busy. There is an indoors part which is airconditioned, and outside area which overlooks raintree park. There were heaps of birds squarking around so we certainly felt like we were in D town.... More

Went to Ruby for a takeaway order. Prices are very expensive for the amount of food given for takeaway. Ordered the wok cooked Beef at $25 and got a very small serve. Paw paw salad worst I have ever had ...much better and cheaper at the markets. Small serve of rice to takeaway too! Will not be going back.

We had been recommended by friends to visit this restaurant and we were certainly not disappointed. Good food, good service, good value.

The food here was fantastic. The menu was dynamic and the selection was contemporary. The staff appeared a little disorganised but they were friendly and helpful. Our group loved Ruby.

Whet solo on a business trip; on a fairly slow night. Business looks new, everything was fresh. Service was a little amateurish. Food was good without being great; price was fine. The place lacked a buzz, and also interaction from the staff. I'd go back, but not in a hurry. Trty it, I think they're learning the industry. J;{-
