The guys at Discover Queensland recommended this one. 2 for one Thursdays with amazing food, mexican beers and tequila for those out for a big night. It's small so make sure you book if you want to go.

excellent Mexican food and ambiance, they have really nice Margaritas and sangria. lunch if half priced they serve vegetarian foo too. it shuts pretty early in the evening, by 8.30 you may find it shut. a must visit in gold coast.

Been here several times before, meals a little disappointing this time but still good :) staff were attentive and friendly, will be back!

We went with a whypayfull price voucher and it seemed good value until the food arrives, entrees were ok nut mains were horrible. You cant beat Monte's for Mexican - make sure you have some of their sangria mmmmm.

Food was terrible. It came out burnt and really unappealing. Walked out and wont go back. I emailed the head office and they told me they dont own the surfers paradise restaurant and did nothing. I have been to one other and it was just as bad. Screw montezumas

Have been to Montezumas several times and love the family friendly atmosphere. Meals are usually fairly good for mexican. However on this occasion had the beef nachos and they were terrible - horrible beef and hardly any corn chips. Hopefully just a bad night on this occasion.
