I've been here twice now, and both times had the mussels and French fries. Sounds like an odd combination, but the dish was amazingly good. Super friendly service, who chatted to us about the history of the building. We were greeted like old friends. This will become a regular haunt for us.

Went here for our wedding anniversary. I'm afraid it was not a memorable experience. It took two and a half hours for two courses, we didn't bother with dessert as we wanted to get away before 11.30! My main was the duck and though the flesh was nice the skin was soft and the fat had not been rendered, so... More

This place was a great find for coffee and chai in a warm cozy welcoming cottage! Real chai leaf tea chefs own brew. Didn't have any food only because we were on route to another place in Salamanca but will be back to try something off the menu. Service was lovely (Joan) . Very pleasant experience.

We enjoyed our night. Intimate dining space, food was quite nice, service a little abrupt. Not as good as we were expecting.

Went with my wife for dinner. Booked in at 7.30 and left at 10pm. In that time only had entree and main. Service was very slow with what appeared only 2 waiters for the entire restaurant. Meals were also average. They were nice but no way near the quality expected for the price. This restaurant is also one of those... More

We went for lunch on the weekend after going to The State for a movie. Service was spot-on, coffee was yummy, food was tasty and dessert - AMAZING. My only (very small) criticism was that my food was a little salty for my taste, and my husband felt the same. Am planning to go back for dinner soon.

We were there over the Easter break & unfortunately couldn't get in for dinner. So lucky to have been able to have lunch there. The oysters with a strawberry vinagraitte was an amazing combination. Our mains, grilled prawns & squid was delicious. Unfortunately they ran out of creme brûlée so has the brownie which was absolutely delicious. Would've loved to... More

I have been twice in the last couple of weeks. Both times impressed by the front of house lady. Rather nice tart, good coffee. My companion had calamari which she thought was great. Nice little separate rooms for intimacy and peaceful meals.

Had a delightful long, lingering lunch, very well looked after by Joan. Very accommodating to a request for a seafood sampler meal and the Bruny Island oysters were stunning. We will definitely return when next in Hobart and look forward to trying the dinner menu.
