Excellent breads, biscotti, pastries etc. And a great range of piadinas - but be warned they sell out pretty quick. Coffee usually pretty good depending on who is pulling.

This is where the locals get their bread, fabulous cakes, best bircher muesli in Melbourne and delicious lunches oh and great coffee. Sitting under the plane trees in Fitzroy Street (in the Paris end)looking over toward the park to the city with a 'baker' treat and coffee is the perfect way to start the day. Closed on Mondays.

One of those gorgeous little artisan bakeries that you feel thrilled to stumble upon! And will always make the effort to visit across town now that you know about it. Luxurious pastries to die for - very good coffee and real bread. You sit outside on little stools and feel you have died and gone to heaven - yes that... More

This bread is perfect, get in early for fresh out of the oven, heavenly smelling aromas of the grain bread.

I will go a long way for a decent loaf, and in Melbourne you may need to! As it happens I live close by so am a regular visitor. The bread is all delicious, but they often dont have what I really like, even at 10 in the morning, and I find it tedious to have to ring ahead and... More

I've been making my weekend pilgramage for 11 years now, I think that says it is Australia's best bread and pastries without a doubt, unfortunately so many agree and he needs a bigger shop and ovens, the queues can be quite long and the espresso machine doesn't help!! Time for new premises!! I still love it!!

Created by true artisans. Bread is very similar to the homemade woodfired bread my grandmother used to make in Sicily. Just wonderful.
