This was our first visit to this restaurant. We booked in for 6 o'clock and arrived about 5 minutes early. We were given the menu and left to contemplate.
The waiter returned about 5 minutes or less later and said he could take our drinks order but not our food order as the kitchen was not open yet. True, there...

Every dish a sensation on the palate. Decadent dining. My only complaint was the girl who was waiting on our table. She was sour, unfriendly and treated us like we were a niusanse. Still worth it for the food!
We have had a hankering for some breakfast burritos since we have moved to NZ and this place made some amazing ones. Love how they were so full of goodness that they couldn't close them and had to use a tooth pick! Tortillas were amazing which is clutch. Just wish they opened a bit earlier and had cholula instead of...

A quiet night, only two tables occupied. Food good and living up to previous reports. Server could have had more of a friendly approach but all in all a good experience.

We went to this restaurant last year and we were suitably impressed. We decided to go back this year. We were not disappointed. Great food, good wine and very pleasant service. We shall be back next year when we return for the Art Deco weekend.
The menu was not overwhelming but we were offered enough choices that all in our party of four were able to make an agreeable selection. The food was superb as was the service.
Two visits, around one year apart. There won't be a third visit.
Take I. Arrival 5pm, practically turned away by waitress after requesting an early evening drink and platter at an outside table. NO other patrons, rude service, finished our drink and left.
Take II. 12 months on, arrival 12:10pm for a lunchtime drink and potentially something to eat. The...
